Part of a bright and bold collection of greetings cards celebrating John Tenniel's original woodcut illustrations for Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll.
This design features a light taupe coloured background with a black and white image of Alice wearing a blue dress, she is shown reaching up to shake the hand of Humpty Dumpty wearing a red outfit as he sits on the wall. Across the top of the card is the message 'Have a Smashing Birthday!'
