One unfortunate and gruesome night his kingdom is attacked, and the most powerful kingdom is destroyed in one night, as well as most of his lineage. He makes it his job to find out who killed his mother, as he blames himself for her death, but when he finds out who killed her he goes crazy.
However, he also makes it his goal to take the kingdom back, but he is constantly reminded of his past and is presented with someone who is particularly familiar to him but isn't the way he used to be.
Will he succeed or be responsible for the end of his lineage?

In September 2023, Grimm & Co's Saturday Afternoon Club began the journey of their writing novellas and extended writing projects. In the sessions over the next year, they worked hard on their writing, using their imagination to grow their ideas from nothing.
